Overview

Connectwise Manage is a complex system that is customizable from the 'My Company' structures all the way down to the types of configurations and their associated questions. Between any two Manage systems there can be hundreds of differences in Company types, statuses, locations, departments or business units, agreement types, contact types and associated communication methods, etc. Even with full access to the API of both systems, an object (contact, agreement, company, etc.) cannot be moved from one system to the other without first changing all of the underlying properties and types to match what the target system expects.

So we built a system that allows for mapping of all of these attributes and setups. The following items can be mapped in the System Mapping page:

Capabilities

Currently the Migration System can migrate the following items to a target Manage system:

• Company (and all related sites)
• Contacts
• Company Notes
• Configurations (also creates the config types in the target system)
• Agreements (maintains parent child relationships)
• Agreement Additions (automatically creates the associated products in the target system or allows for mapping to existing products)
• Service tickets (date ranges and statuses are selectable) for the Migrated company are copied to the target system to a single Board you specify and a status you specify. Ticket attachments and images are also migrated.

The Migration System DOES NOT migrate the following items:

• Financial data such as invoices
• Time entries on the tickets that are migrated over are converted to standard ticket notes to avoid double billing from both systems.
• Time sheets
• Sales orders
• Opportunities and other financial information

Licensing and Pricing

A 30 day free trial is built into the system.The subscription can be activated on up to three machines.The trial subscription comes with a single migration license which allows for the complete migration of one company and the associated attributes shown above.

Once purchased, the subscription term is for 10 years and 20 Migration licenses are included with the initial purchase. Additional migration licenses can be purchased directly from within the application. The per unit price decreases automatically as you order higher quantities of usage licenses. The software now takes into account all previous usage license purchases and calculates the discounted "per license" price based on the total licenses owned.

Migration Licenses

A Migration license allows for the migration of one company and it's associated agreements, agreement additions, contacts, configurations, company notes and open service tickets.

The initial pricing for the software with 20 migration licenses is $399.00 Additional Migration Licenses can be purchased at the following pricing:

Requirements

• Connectwise 2020.4 or later is required. This application utilizes the Connectwise REST API - no database access is required.
• .NET 4.7.2 or later is required on the machine running this software (Windows 10, Server 2012 or newer recommended ) NET 4.7.2 is a free download from Microsoft, our installer will guide you if not already installed.
